We are committed to serving our community throughout the summer and continuing to provide weekly updates. Instruction will continue with virtual summer school, and we will be providing meals through the summer months.

Earlier this week, I released a joint statement with our IUSD Board of Education addressing the recent events that have occurred in our community and across the country.

Over the past week, we have witnessed blatant acts of systemic racism and the brutal murder of George Floyd. We are both outraged and saddened by the senseless death and the killing of another unarmed Black man.

Tuesday, June 2nd from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. We have the opportunity to create a new vision for schools. What does that look like in a post-covid 19 world? Schools are re-opening and we need your help to envision equity.

Next week is the last official week of instruction and learning for the 2019-20 school year, and I am particularly reflective of how each of you has shown resilience, strength and dedication during these past few months.
